Pastor Jamond Jimmerson was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Although his mother Barbarita Jimmerson and his father Demour Welch played an integral part in his development, his grandmother Rita Jimmerson was like a second mother to him who poured into him valuable insight. He received the call to ministry at the tender age of 19 and was determined to follow Christ for the rest of his life. He attended Forest Park St. Louis Community College and then transferred his credits to Oakwood University where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Church Leadership in 2012.
After obtaining his BS degree, he served as an assistant Pastor at the St. Louis Berean SDA Church for several months under Pastor Joseph T. Ikner. In August of 2013, Pastor Jimmerson enrolled to the Seventh-day Theological Seminary: Andrews University. He has completed the Masters of Divinity program in December 2015 and has excepted the call to work in the Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.
Pastor Jimmerson has been married to the love of his life “Twainika Jimmerson” for 5 years now. They welcomed their first child, Levi in April 2016. He enjoys reading, teaching and playing basketball. Pastor Jimmerson is passionate about people and desires to see them grow in the amazing grace of God. His favorite scripture which brings him joy and keeps Him grounded is found in 2 Corinthians 5:21 – “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Pastor Brian Irby was born in Springfield, IL to Alan and Paula Irby. Pastor Irby fell in love with Jesus when he was 17 years old and soon after answered the call to ministry and enrolled as a Theology major at Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL. While serving the Lord in ministry at Oakwood, he fell in love with the former Carolynn Bishop and they were married in August 2010.
The Irby’s prayer has always been that God would use them as a unit in such a way, that would not be possible were they not together. Pastor Irby is a proud graduate of Oakwood University, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Theology. Following his undergrad studies Pastor Irby served as a teacher at Carolina Adventist Academy (CAA) in Whiteville, NC along with Carolynn his wife.
Church Ministry
After 2 years at CAA Pastor Irby enrolled in the Andrews Theological Seminary. Upon graduation with a Masters of Divinity degree, he accepted the call to serve as the Associate Pastor of Harbor of Hope SDA Church in Benton Harbor, MI. There he experienced a fruitful ministry, focusing on Evangelism and Discipleship. In June of 2018 Pastor Irby received a call to pastor the Philadelphia SDA Church in Des Moines, IA and later had the privilege of adding the New Life Christian Ministries SDA Company in Waterloo, IA to the district.
In addition to his pastoral duties, he serves as the Prayer Ministries and Men’s Ministries Director for the Conference. The Irby’s have two children; a 7 year old boy Caleb and a 4 year old girl Christynn. Pastor Irby loves Jesus, spending time with family, Bible Study and has a passion for teaching the Bible, evangelism, and helping people grow spiritually. His greatest hope is for he, his family and as many as can be saved to see Jesus when He returns and live with Him eternally.
